NOTE:
It is unclear who led this Crusade, how long it lasted, and when it started. The last sentence of the first paragraph on page 43 reads "As part of Marshal Daidin's Crusade, Helbrecht fought with courage and furious zeal for decades, eventually rising to command it upon Daidin's Death."
The date 989.M41 specifically marks Helbrecht's ascension to High Marshal, at the end of the Sigilare Nebula Crusade. It's fair to assume that the Crusade ended on the same year or very close to the time of High Marshal Kordhel's death, assuming the Black Templars were eager to vote for a new High Marshal and not remain leaderless. It's also fair to assume that this Crusade lasted for decades, per the quoted sentence above. Why only 232 Black Templars were committed to a Crusade lasting decades is purely speculative.
That final sentence may be referring to a separate Crusade, it may be referencing Helbrecht's history generically which the preceding two sentences do, or it may be regarding the Sigilare Nebula Crusade. The answer is unclear since the single paragraph contains so many elements.
If I had to make a choice I would speculate that "Daidin's Crusade" was the Sigilare Nebula Crusade. If "Daidin's Crusade" was meant to be its own Crusade, wording would likely have been different (i.e. the Daidin Crusade). An example would be the Vinculus Crusade, which is in reference to Inquisitor Vinculus but the quest is not referred to in its possessive form, Vinculus' Crusade. Since this isn't called "the Daidin Crusade," this led me to believe Marshal Daidin was the leader of this Crusade, at least before he was killed and Helbrecht took his place, which seemed to have occurred prior to the death of High Marshal Kordhel.
